Homemade Gourmet – 4 meals

March 16, 2010

                                                                                                                                                                           Tuesday- Eats and Treats

Today I’m sharing about a company called Homemade Gourmet. They carry all kinds of speciality seasoning mixes for  meats, veges, soups appetizers and desserts..

They have an interesting concept called 4 meals in 4 minutes….Who doesn’t like the sound of that.. 🙂 Basically what they are saying is you can put together 4 main recipes by combing their seasonings and a few other ingredients in approximately 4 minutes. What interests me is the idea of making 4 meals in 4 minutes and freezing them so they are crock pot ready. This is the first time I’ve ever tried Homemade Gourmet meal spices, so I’ll have to let you know how the meals end up tasting!!

I’ve taken photo’s and put together the following meals:

Kansas City Barbeque Chicken : chicken, spices ketchup, water, brown sugar

Hawaiian Chicken: chicken, pineapple, soysauce, spices, honey

Beef stroganoff: round steak, water, sour cream, flour, spices, mushrooms

Cheesy mexican Chicken : spices, tomatoes and chilies

Here are the 4 freezer meals I came up with, it took me a bit longer then 4 minutes…but not much longer.

When you have time check out Jennifer at Balancing beauty and Bedlam, she has a wonderful blog, and she sells Homemade Gourmet!! Here is a link to her post and how to video. Email me if you are interested in a local contact number.
