Back in the Day Bakery, Savannah, Georgia

April 26, 2010

Have you ever been to Savannah, Georgia? We visited there a few years ago and I loved

that place!!!

I loved the architecture and the southern feel!!  The one thing I wanted to do but didn’t, was visit Paula Deans restaurant; the line was a block long.

Today, I was blog hopping and came across some adorable pictures of a little restaurant in Savannah. The next time we visit, this is a must stop!!  Look how cute these photos are. I love that door flipped on its side and made into a chalk board. I’ve been planning on doing something like that for our office and I’ve already purchased the door (screen door). Plus, loving the wall color. Check out the Thompson family blog  for more kitschy and cute stuff!

Great site. A lot of useful information here. I’m sending it to some friends!

I have visited Savanah a few times – great place! I was fortunate enough to take a lovely meal at Paula Dean’s place and even met the two boys (who were gracious enough to sign their cookbook for me). It is definitely worth the long wait in line if you must.
