Corrugated Cardboard Squares Used as wallpaper

May 12, 2010

The things you can do with a 12×12 piece of single face corrugated paper.

I spotted this wall inspiration form one of my favorite stores, lets call it Arhaus. 🙂

I noticed they used these little corrugated pieces on the wall, at first glance I didn’t even realize what it was.

Initially I set out to do this project for my long wall dilemma, but opted for the 4 botanical prints instead.

Here is the easy “how to”  ….I  took my squares, flipped them over, and taped them together.

That’s a pretty picture!!

Flip it back over and here’s what you get…..  You can hang it on a diagonal like the above photo, or just straight up.

The project below took about 5 minutes. This is a great idea for someone who lives in an apartment, or anyone who wants a quick and easy section of color and texture without painting.  Although,You could actually spray paint the squares too.

I’m sorry the picture above looks so grainy, I’m hoping it isn’t because I bumped my camera hard.  Maybe it’s because the battery is about due for a charge, I certainly hope so.

The source for 12×12 single face corrugated paper is Paper Mart.  A source for nail heads is Diy Upholstry Supply.
