cake in a jar: how to make a cute treat

May 31, 2010

I hope everyone has a blessed day as we remember those who bravely sacrificed their lives for our freedom along with those who are currently fighting and the veterans who are with us today! I am forever grateful! Thank you all ….God Bless America and those families.

As we share together food and family I wanted to post the modified cupcake in a jar we’ll be eating… Remember this one. This is a little quicker version….. when you don’t have time to bake.

For the bottom layer I used cut up strawberries mixed with ready to use strawberry glaze. The next layer is angel food cake,  blueberries,  more angel food cake, strawberry mixer and topped with cool whip.  I would recommend smaller jars or longer spoons … 🙂
