I got a haircut today for $12

July 2, 2010

Thanks to my friend Judi for the awesome advice on where to save money getting a haircut!!.  I went to a beautiful training salon today and received a great haircut at a phenomenal price 🙂 This was a big step for me since I’m a big chicken to go to a different place for my hair…. I knew the sweet girl who cut my hair so that made it fun!! If you live local and are interested in the scoop, email me for more info 🙂 Meggan if you are reading this …so sorry for cheating on you…you know I still love you bunches!!! I don’t normally like taking pics of myself but here’s a quick snap from a mirror…closed eyes and all….

It was a great place…friendly service….in a score from 1-5 I would give it a 5 🙂 Check out your local hair academies they have great prices on all different services:)

Oh my gosh, I LOVE it! You seriously have the exact haircut I have thinking about getting for summer {I am also always too chicken to go somewhere new}. I had NO idea that I was in your area…how neat! I’m in Lancaster County too and I am totally emailing you right now to see where you got your hair done. It’s adorable : )

I actually tried a training salon this week too! I was scared…but can no longer afford what I used to spend on my hair (and at the same time could not walk around looking the way it looked for one more day!). I got a cut AND highlights, and while took quite a bit longer than usual, it was less than half the price I normally pay. And it looks GREAT.

LOVE it! Love the color, the layers, the sideswept bangs… all of it!! I’ve been seeing a lot of posts about summer haircuts lately and I’m jonesing to do it myself. Alas, I’ll have to wait until at least October. 🙁
