I want to share pictures of my mom’s little cottage home…it’s a 2 bedroom little fixer upper…. here are some shots of the process before and during….I guess the after shots will be when it is totally complete:)
Before:
All the scrubs were removed and the porch was totally opened up…..screens and framing were removed. Columns were added. Initially there was one support column near the front left corner….we decided to add aditional columns the same size. The 4 columns across the front are new and the one that butts up to the house. A new black roof was added.
It still needs landscaping and it would be great with some workable wooden shutters…
It’s a really cute house with a lot of character…here’s a little inside pic of a door that leads into a little office.
Rene, it’s adorable! I just love the posts on the porch and the shingle siding. Where is this? It’s so different from anything we see here in Oklahoma. I hope you can show us more. 🙂
