When I see something I love I just can’t help but share it…. I just think these little swatch Portraits from Purl Bee are the cutest things!! Purl Bee is so kind to let me feature them…
The Perl Patchwork fabric shop in Soho was looking for a creative way to share some of their favorite products. So they put their heads together and decided to make swatch portraits using embroidery hoops…… that is where this family portrait style wall of Liberty of London fabrics came to be. Their idea is so simple and yet so charming!!
To make the swatch portraits you simply gather together your collection of different sized wooden hoops and pieces of fabric. Your fabric needs to be 2″ wider than your hoop in all directions…..They used Liberty of LondonTana Lawn fabrics for this project.
