We will miss our sweet Clover!

September 5, 2010

I haven’t felt  like writing lately…..

I’m so sad to share the news that our sweet baby girl Clover passed earlier this week. We were shocked to hear that she had a tumor in her tummy and was bleeding…… poor little girl. We came home from dinner and found her in the hall way unable to walk.

She brought so much joy and happiness to our family … she will be missed more than words can express!!

Thank you Lord for blessing our lives with this amazing dog…she is beautiful in every way!!

Just found this picture of Clover and me. It was taken  about 9 years ago….. at our other house

So sorry to hear of your loss. Every pet we’ve ever lost has been a heart breaker. We have a dog and a cat and I dread the days when we have to say goodbye to them. But I would do it again…it would seem so empty without a pet in the house.

Oh my goodness. I am so sorry! Looking into the beautiful eyes literally brings tears to my own. You have my sympathies. The loss of a family member (no matter human or pet) is hard, especially when illness is involved. Glad you have a picture of good times to cherish. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to hear about your sweet Clover. We’ve had to put 2 of our sweet dogs to sleep over the yrs and it’s so heartbreaking. Our sweet cat “Trouble”, passed away also in May. We were all very close to him too.
Right now we are SO attached to our sweet black lab Dylan. I treasure everyday with him because I know that a dog’s life is so short. You truly realize how short time is with sweet pets when you have to go through this….
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family,
    xoxxo

I am so sorry for you and your family. Losing a pet is so hard – we had to put down our little kitty almost a year ago and I am just now able to talk about it without getting all blubbery! (Read here: http://www.theconfidentmom.com/relationships/kitty-grief/) May your family find all the blessings that this little girl brought into your home and cherish those – take time to grieve and share memories. I will be praying for your family to be filled with over flowing peace and healing. XOXO

I am so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose our close animal friends. Not to mention the sadness of knowing they were in pain from an illness.

Two weeks after I gave birth to my son (just last year), my best cat friend of 10 years named Zeus, came down with feline bone cancer. It came hard and fast. I still have dreams about that kitty and miss him a lot.

The pangs come and go. But those special memories with your beloved dog will alway remain.

    Many hugs to you.

    Hi Rene,
I am so sorry about Clover. Nothing really takes away the pain, it just takes time, time to learn to live without her. I know God is holding you up right now. It will get better I promise.

    Dear Rene,
I’m so sorry for the loss of your dear Clover. I know first hand that losing a pet can be like losing a loved one. Clover seemed like a wonderful dog and truly a gift. Dogs are such an example of unconditional love. I thank God that He sent her to you for a season. I pray that God comforts your heart as you think of your dear baby girl. With love, Denise

Awww I’m so sorry, but know she is not suffering anymore. We lost our dog last February but had to make the aweful decision. She too had a massive tumor and was bleeding internally. It still hurts to this day just thinking about how selfish we were to keep her hanging on when she was in pain, but relieved in knowing that she is no longer hurting. God Bless you and your family and Clover.
