October 24, 2010

What caught my eye at HD…..

Great Price!!! Watch out HomeGoods 🙂

Saw these Martha Stewart Rods and looked at her drapes…. I liked the rods more than the drapes….

ok,now i need to look for a spot for that white lamp….love it and love the price! i haven’t ventured into HD in awhile cuz I’ve been going to Lowe’s instead….great to see their updating their looks!
we have the hanging ones over my husband’s workbench in his garage, but they would be great over a kitchen island too.
thanks for sharing Rene and have a great day,
    j

Rene, that is so funny. I just looked at that lamp on Thursday at Home Depot and thought it was awesome and a great price too! That silver pendant light is the one I have hanging over my kitchen table. I went to Homegoods on Friday with my friend Claudia and the lamps there were not good at all. I did however find another blue one to match the one I already have at TJ in Ann Arbor. I am using two blue lamps right now instead of my retro ones.

    I also found a different rug at Lowes, it’s a 7 x 11 which looks much better in the space than a 5 x 7.

Thank you for the comment LeAnn…glad you found a larger size rug you like…never noticed the light hanging over your table.
I really like a style similar to that one, only a wall mount, for over my moms kitchen sink.
