I always forget to take pictures …but 2 years ago we went to a friends house for a party and they snapped photos of my husband and I in our Mona Lisa painting and artist outfits…. We borrowed the HALIRIOUS Mona Lisa outfit from a good friend of ours son. Thank you Alex and Judi!!
Judi bought the fabric from JoAnns and stitched up the sides and top…next it was stretched over a box and the entire thing was slipped over the head. The shifty eye holes were cut out so the Mona Lisa could see. I was lucky to find a beret and Jacket at a good price at Target so I could look the part…. I cut out a cardboard paint palette and attached it to a ribbon with a brush tied on the other end….
Here is a side shot…I cracked up when Mona Lisa came to life and tried to give me a hug!!
PS. I think it would be funny to mount a picture light at the top…also you could do a solo version of this with a picture frame and stand…….

oh my goodness, how fantastic! i love this, it’s so flippin’ creative, and i love that you added props like the pallet. i have always had to carry an extra item, whether it’s a cigarette holder with my flapper costume, or a bouquet of flowers with my renaissance fair look.
That is really funny….so creative! 🙂 My little boy is going trick or treating as Luigi, from Mario Brothers….I’m thinking I should let him carry a wrench…those brothers were plumbers after all. 🙂
I’m glad you liked my post on my new crockpot….I still haven’t found one thing I don’t like about it yet and I’ve used it three times already! 🙂 It just has the cutest features! The only thing that would make it nicer is if it filled itself up! 🙂
