Keeping the decor base neutral

November 14, 2010

I really like keeping my decor base neutral. It creates the perfect backdrop for quick and easy changes, seasonally and for holidays!!! I love mixing the patterns of the decor base, but enjoy keeping it neural (monochromatic). By just changing out a pillow and a decorative throw you can totally change up a room in a matter of minutes!!!Check out my examples below: (it can be done with any color palette …I’m going to switch mine to green/gray in the spring…last picture)

Spring ideas…got the pillows several months ago from Marshalls, table cloth  from Walmart….. sheet from TJ’s.

Love the subtle changes you’ve shown. It doesn’t take much to give an entirely new look to a room with neutral pieces.
