Hoot and Hollar: 50 off Target Red Plaid tablecloth deal!!

December 22, 2010

I’m just sharing this 50% off deal in case any of you missed it. I just snagged 2 woven red plaid tablecloths at Target for $6.48 a piece online. I saw them in the store a few weeks ago and thought they were… oh so cute!! They will make perfect drapery panels next winter at either my house or my moms. They have 84 and 104 inch lengths. Who knows they might be perfect for my mom’s house right now….we’ll see!! They would be very cute for so many applications… pillows, slipcovers etc.  Remember this “No” sew drapery post I did??

PS. There are tons of other great seasonal items on sale… (online at Target).

I love to get seasonal red, and red and white, items on sale around Christmas — because red can be used for so many holidays! Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Chinese New Year, Independence Day, and blends well with autumnal colors for the fall holidays also. (Note to self: squeeze in a trip to Target to check the sale items).

Love your blog but was wondering if you could be more specific on how you made the no sew draperies? Would love to make them but need a little more guidance.

    Eileen,
Thank you for your comment. It is so easy, you just purchase the tablecloth size that fits your window height. Take them out of the package …. iron …clip them on your rod loops and you are done!! If they are to long you can sew iron in a hem with some of that fusible tape from the fabic store. If you click on the highlighted word in my post it will take you to a previous post with more detail. I have the rods with the detachable rings that have little clips, it makes the drapes so simple to hang.
