Ikea REKO: favorite find

December 23, 2010

Do you get that crazy sensory overload when you enter IKEA. I’m talking from the time you smell those sinful cinnamon rolls until the moment you enter the clearance area. Last week I crafted a new plan. I held my breath as I passed the SINn-amon rolls and headed straight to the clearance. I saw some awesome things, but nothing that would fit in my car. Next, I took the lower level short cut and passed all the upstairs rooms that make me want to totally change all my furniture and move to a really modern place. I casually started looking at things that I normally pass…..and there I spotted them. My favorite little find…. for only $1.49.

The 6 pk REKO – 6oz. stack-able glasses

They are so versatile.  They stack and take up very little space in the cupboard. You can bring them out for a party and use them for cute vases or even a candle holder 🙂

Here’s what the package looks like just in case you are interested.

I snagged a few of these for little Christmas gifts 🙂

I left IKEA with a few things in my car and a smile on my face :)…I felt liberated and not frustrated. Weird, I know!

I might try your strategy next time I go to IKEA. It might work – but I will probably make a b-line for those glasses.

Rene’ thank you for your sweet comment. It makes me feel good knowing I’m not alone on things I like.

My mom and I had so much fun looking around IKEA. I noticed you and your mom like doing things together too 🙂
