So this is a wacky post, but I just have to share this discovery….
So the other day I was making some black beans and it just so happened that I had beans from 2 different companies that I took from the cupboard. The first pic of beans is from Progresso. See anything wrong with that picture?? You might be asking yourself, who takes pictures of beans…right?? Well when you blog you take pictures of everything and especially when you want to share something and make a point. Plus, I didn’t know if anyone would believe me, but trust me this is for real. Anyway, that is all the bean left after pouring off the top liquid. It wasn’t that I drained the whole can into a separate container. I just poured off the liquid. The beans only filled the can a little over half way….shocking! Wow, so I expect that from a bag of chips, but not from a can of beans.
Next, compare it to Bush’s black beans. …… Now this is what I consider a full can, plus they taste better and actually look like black beans. Sorry Progresso. I’m making no beans about it, Bush’s is the way to go!
