Organizing my Monday: ribbon

July 11, 2011

Hi to the blog readers out there….

Today I had the urge to get the disorganized ribbons of our home in order.

Especially after seeing this genius photo of  ribbons hanging on a pant rack.

I set out to conquer the tangled mess that is located in just one of the many places

around our homefront….

First I had to realize that I have a problem… that was easy!!

Next, I followed the pant rack solution.

I got this one at Target.

The next one I get will need to have more space between each row, so

the larger spools will fit.

I’m making progress! Happy Monday!

That’s an awesome idea! I’m soo going to hack that! I have a pant rack or 2 hanging around too & the ribbon spools are in a big box. Love it. I see the alternate use for the hanging jewelry pouch in the background too & I’ll keep that in mind also. Thanks for sharing that!

Oh my stars! It’s beautiful, the graduated colors make me so happy! The only problem with having it out and organized like that would be the constant urge to impulsively purchase way too many types of ribbon. Great idea!

What a terrific idea! I will have to try this with my own ribbon disaster! Have a great Wednesday! Angie xo

Thank you for your comments Donna, Mandy and Angie…
I need to do that hanging jewelry pouch too! I have ribbon that isn’t on spools.
Plus, I’d love a place to keep tape and scissors handy.
