Today I needed one of these….. a handy tape measure.
It wasn’t a problem…cuz’ a few weeks ago I put together a tool kit
for myself while walking around HD. It’s just a little one for small little tasks. I thought about
fashioning a creative bag to house the red and silver shiny items, but instead
I ended up picking one right off the shelf.
Really, I was looking for a set more like this pink tool set…..
Next time I go to a shower of a DIY Bride I might just give her this pink set!

My biggest challenge is when the guys borrow my tools because they can not find their own. Getting things back where they belong takes focus.
We have a great hardware and more store near me that gives rebates back on tools bought. I buy a tool, get a rebate, use the “same” money to buy another. Have been doing this for at least 10 years.
