Woman Pepper sprays other Black Friday Shoppers!!!

November 25, 2011

Can you believe that a lady pepper sprayed some black Friday shoppers!!!

That’s taking shopping to a new level. Check out the full story at this link.

Have you witnessed unnecessary roughness and fights while shopping

on Black Friday? I’m ready to head out into the masses…. I wonder if I should

wear goggles and other forms of protection.

Actually, no — I have never witnessed such a thing. Then again I have never ever ever gone out “Black Friday” shopping in my whole life. The Friday after Thanksgiving is always reserved with eating leftovers, making turkey soup, and putting away the fall decorations and beginning to get out the Christmas ones.

What I did witness this morning at Aldi’s (I do go grocery shopping on Fridays regardless), was an elderly woman who was short $5 at the checkout, as she didn’t know they only took cash or debit, other shoppers in line who offered to pay it for her, and the checker herself telling her not to worry about it — just bring it in next time she comes. Memphis often gets a bad rap on the news and in the different “livability” lists — and, make no mistake, we have a VERY high crime (and poverty) rate — but I witness things like this every single week.
