Thin mint cookies and other quick no bake treats

December 9, 2011

Every year I enjoy making thin mint cookies at Christmas time.

It has been kind of a ritual off and on for the past 18 years.

It all started when I took a candy making class and the instructor told us about

this amazing knock off recipe for Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies.

All you have to do is take Ritz crackers and dip them in chocolate mint…the result A MAY ZING!!

Check out the post I did last year on making knock-off  Thin Mints, Butterfingers…

 and Turtles…

I love to make these! I sprinkle crushed mint Candy canes on top for extra crunch. You’re right, they are amazingly good.
