Sock Monkey Baby Shower Games and Activities Part 2

March 23, 2012

 Some more photos

of the Sock Monkey Baby Shower

in honor of Nancy and little guy…

Sock Monkey Baby shower Theme

We didn’t really play games, but here’s what we did do….

We had a station set up for ladies to guess how many Sock

Monkey faces were in the house.

There were over 250 including stickers, napkins,

signs…etc. Thank you Nancy for counting all of those

faces for us..before the shower started:)

We also had a Diaper Doodle center….where

ladies could doodle a funny message on a diaper for Daddy and Mommy.

Great way to put a smile on their face during those 2 a.m. diaper changes!

I was looking for fun and different shower activities online and came across this

cute idea!!

Unique baby shower activity and games

We also did a sock monkey drawing for a large Sock Monkey and gave away

little Ty beanie Babies every 10 minutes while Nancy was

opening gifts…. I think we gave away 6 total.

Mama and little guy were blessed with so many wonderful gifts!!!

We ended the day with Sock Monkey Cake pop favors!

Thank you to my dear friends who helped me with the shower!!!

I had someone special help me decorate and another took care of greeting and

instruction at the door along with putting away coats.

Another friend offered drinks….

They were amazing and  I couldn’t have done it without them.

I also had Patti Urbanski help.

She has her own business called helping Hands and

is wonderful to hire for events. She managed and cleaned up

all the food.

All these ladies were such a huge help to me…. especially while I was

distracted by a million other things 🙂

Sock Monkey Cake Pops

If you are planning a Sock Monkey themed party and are in need of supplies

at a discount let me know…..  I’ll post a list of what I used and what I have left over

in a few days.

All photos were taken by Ashley except for the Diaper Doodle.

I love the diaper doodle idea! It’s like hiding secret notes to find later- very cute idea! 🙂 It sounds like it was a very fun time, and I’m sure mama and baby were blessed by it. Welcome, little one!

You just put disposable diapers in a basket with a sign along with a low oder permanent markers. People write messages on the diapers.
If you’re interested in buying any sock monkey supplies…I’ve got leftovers.
Let me know and I’ll give you a list.
