Every October “The Nester” does a link up for anyone who wants
to join in on a 31 day commitment to blog every day in the month of October.
I did it last year and had fun, but this year I don’t feel like I can fully commit.
I have another priority that’s taking a lot of time.
Even though I’m not doing the full 31 day commitment, I still thought I’d share
some things over the next few months… from my “wanna do and be” list.
First, I wanna make a plan….. a plan of things that need to get done around the house.
There are still rooms in our home that need updated and sprucing up.
I’ve never finished the bathroom update.
Since blogging, I spend so much time looking at what other
people are doing and less on actually doing anything to our home.
It’s weird…but I feel so much less creative since blogging and pinterest.
It’s like I’m overloaded with other peoples ideas and never think for myself anymore.
Does anyone else feel that way? I’m not saying Pinterest isn’t great.
It really is a wonderful resource.
Enough said…
Time to make a plan of attack.

I hear you! Lets see I have about 5-6 projects going and not finishing one of them. I keep seeing something else on pinterest, and then bam, I am excited about another project and start working on that one…
So I am taking a break from pinning for a bit till I finish at least one thing. At least thats what I tell myself.
It’s good to know I’m not alone on the whole “not finishing a project thing”…

I feel the same! I have projects looming over me and no idea what direction to take. Sometimes too much inspiration is a bad thing. Glad I’m not alone 🙂
Definitely true, Renee’! I took the summer off of blogging (I’m not a pinner, it would be too much of a time sucker for me), and I got soooo many fun (and original!) projects done! There are a million great ideas out there, but all the looking really does stifle personal ideas and creativity. I guess balance, like in everything, really is key!
